Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using AgentBackend, you agree to these terms. If you are using AgentBackend on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Description of Service

AgentBackend is an agentic backend platform that allows you to create, configure, deploy, and run AI agents via a web console and REST API. We provide orchestration, knowledge management (RAG), tool routing, and multi-model support.

3. Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must provide accurate account information
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the platform

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use AgentBackend to:

• Generate harmful, illegal, or deceptive content
• Impersonate individuals or organizations
• Circumvent rate limits or abuse the platform
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Distribute malware or engage in unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.

5. Billing & Payment

• Free accounts receive $3 in credit upon signup
• Usage is billed based on token consumption plus a platform fee
• Credits can be purchased at any time and do not expire
• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time
• Refunds for unused credit are available within 30 days of purchase

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all content you create on AgentBackend, including agent configurations, instructions, and uploaded knowledge documents. We do not claim any rights over your content. AgentBackend and its branding, UI, and underlying technology are our intellectual property.

7. Third-Party Services

AgentBackend relies on third-party LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) to process agent requests. Your use of these models through our platform is subject to the respective provider's terms of service and usage policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

AgentBackend is provided “as is” without warranty. We are not liable for agent outputs, decisions made based on agent responses, or any indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of AgentBackend after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
