1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. When you use our platform, we collect:

• Account information (email, name, authentication data)
• Agent configurations and instructions you create
• Knowledge documents you upload for RAG
• Usage data (API calls, token consumption, agent run logs)
• Payment information (processed securely by our payment provider)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the AgentBackend platform
• To process your agent configurations and run your agents
• To calculate billing based on token usage
• To send transactional emails (account verification, billing receipts)
• To improve platform performance and reliability

3. Data Processing

Your agent instructions and knowledge documents are sent to third-party LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) for processing. We do not use your data to train models. Each provider's data handling is governed by their respective privacy policies.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. Knowledge documents are encrypted at rest. API keys are hashed and cannot be retrieved after creation. We use Supabase for authentication and data storage with row-level security policies.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Agent run logs are retained for 90 days. When you delete your account, all associated data (agents, knowledge documents, API keys) is permanently deleted within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You can:

• Access and export your data at any time from the dashboard
• Delete your agents, knowledge documents, and API keys
• Delete your entire account from Settings
• Request a copy of all data we hold about you

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.
